Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a prescription for colored contact lenses?

Yes. Colored contact lenses are medical devices and should be fitted and prescribed by a licensed eye care professional, even if you select 0.00 (plano). During checkout, follow our Prescription Verification instructions.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact service@glocolens.com promptly with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the package and product. Our team will review the case and provide next steps.

How do I choose the right diameter and base curve?

Use the measurements on your valid contact lens prescription. Diameter and base curve affect fit, comfort and lens movement; do not choose them based on appearance alone.

How should I care for my lenses?

Wash and dry your hands before handling lenses. Use only fresh contact lens solution to rub, rinse and store reusable lenses. Never use tap water, never reuse old solution, and replace the lens case regularly. Remove lenses before sleeping, showering or swimming.

Why can the lens color look different from the website?

Results vary with your natural eye color, iris pattern, lighting, camera and screen settings, makeup and lens placement. Product photos are a guide, not a guarantee of an identical result.

Are colored contact lenses safe?

They can be safe when properly prescribed, fitted, handled and replaced. Follow your eye care professional’s instructions and the product directions, and never share lenses.

How long can I wear my lenses each day?

Follow the wearing schedule given by your eye care professional and the product instructions. New wearers should build up gradually. Remove the lenses immediately if you develop pain, redness, excessive tearing or blurred vision.

Can I sleep, shower or swim in colored contacts?

No. Remove lenses before sleeping, showering, swimming or using a hot tub unless a licensed eye care professional has specifically prescribed otherwise.

Should I put contacts in before or after makeup?

Insert clean lenses before applying makeup. Remove them before taking makeup off. Keep powders, sprays, creams and oils away from the lenses.

What should I do if a lens feels uncomfortable?

Remove it immediately. Only reinsert it after proper cleaning if the lens is undamaged and your eye feels completely normal. For persistent pain, redness, light sensitivity, discharge or blurred vision, stop wear and seek prompt eye care.

When will my order ship and how can I track it?

Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery estimates and destination limitations are listed on our Shipping & Delivery page. Tracking details are emailed after dispatch and can also be checked on Track Your Order.

What is your return and refund policy?

Eligible unopened, unused and undamaged items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Opened contact lens boxes cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Contact service@glocolens.com before sending anything back and review Returns & Exchanges for complete terms.
